Is credit check is necessary for student loan ?

I want to take out some student loans but I am facing bad credit history. I am a defaulter. Will this not allow getting me student loans? Is there any way to get student loans without checking credit history?

Tammy2 		Listen, generally when you go for private student loans then you get the benefit to have it without cosigner but there also you have to show your credit history. You get loans only when you have good credit history otherwise there is no chance to get student loans from there. Since private lenders provide you loans without cosigner so that they not want to take more risk after not checking your credit history. Your credit history implies that you can pay back loans amount with the full interest and within the time.

Only government federal student loans are provided to you without checking your credit history and without cosigner. But for that you have to fulfill some government requirements. If you fulfill all those requirements then you will be able to take loans.

If you search then you can find there are some lenders who are providing you no credit check student loans but they need a cosigner for that and also may be they charge the high rate of interest. Search about them.
